Kavalan Classic Single Malt Whisky

Kavalan Classic Single Malt Whisky exemplifies the sheer quality of whisky currently coming out of Taiwan.The skills of Master Blender Ian Chang work with the humid Taiwanese climate to create whisky that is diverse and complex. Fresh and clean, the spirit is rich with silky smoothness and hints of tropical fruits, mango in particular.      

Colour: Lively and passionate amber

Nose: Clean, elegant, floral (pleasant & refreshing fragrance of the butterfly orchid), fruity and seductive. With hints of honey, tropical fruits (Mango in particular), pear drop, vanilla, coconuts and suggestions of chocolate.

Palate:  A hint of sweet mango juice with that spicy compexity and gentle warmth on a medium, oily and citrus finish.

Kavalan Concertmaster Single Malt Whisky

Using Portuguese ruby, tawny and vintage Port wine casks as the main flavour, Kavalan Concertmaster single malt whisky is first matured in specially selected American oak casks an then finished in port barriques. The marrying in the barriques mellows the flavours and adds indefinable smoothness to the whisky. it is rich bodied with natural sweetness and complexity.

Colour: Brownish red

Nose: Tropical fruitness with honey, vanilla, coconut and candy floss.

Palate: Rich bodied with natural sweetness and complexity.

KAVALAN Distillery creates rich yet mellow layered taste using exquisite barrel art with consummately skilled blending workmanship; the unique tropical fruit fragrances of KAVALAN and the cream caramel embellished with wood and vanilla scends offer the ideal lingering flavors, these are the meticulous works specially selected by the bartenders.

Nose: Aroma or ripe tropical fruits, floral notes, and warm vanilla.

Palate: Sweet, mellow and smooth in the mouth, the balanced taste is the perfect blending of barrel craft workmanship.

Kavalan Solist Oroloso Sherry

Matured in Spanish top quality oroloso sherry casks in special editions, Kavalan Solist Sherry is bottled by hand at the distillery, without any colouring ,chill - filtration. it is a naturally smooth and rich whisky with a complex character. it is clean and compex with multi-layers of dried fruit, nuttiness and spices with some marzipan and vanilla touches to it as well.

Color: Dark and mouth - watering raisin

Nose: Clean and complex with muti-layers of dried fruit, nuttiness and spices with some marzipan and vanilla touches to it as well.

Palate: Rich, oily and full with pleasant dried fruit and spices that linger on in the mouth plus a hint of fine coffee.

Kavalan Solist Fino 

Single cask strength 

Single Malt Whisky

Fino, Spanish for "Fine", is the driest and most pale of all varieties of traditional sherry wine. Traditional Fino wine is usually non - sweet and is best consumed shortly after the bottle is opened in order to avoid losing its flavour. Kavalan's Fino, matured in the finest Fino Sherry butts that were used for the wine making, however, provides mild sweetness that excites the palate.

Colour: Dark gold amber

Nose: The rich aroma of sherry, with its creamy toffee and rich fudge qualities, and the slightest hint of chocolate blends with the fruity character of the spirit. The fruitness is a compex, multi - layered  blend of mango an over - ripe citrus fruit flavours that ends with a touch of green apples.

Palate: Natural sweetness on the tongue is accentuated with a gentle fudge flavour. The complex fruity flavours are layered with dry smoked wood aromas. This special anniversary edition of Solist cask strenght whisky has a long finish and natural sweetness giving way to a pleasant mouth - drying sensation that leaves the connoisseur ready for the next sip!  

Kavalan Solist Vinho

Single Cask Strength

Single Malt Whisky

Vinho is fully matured in used American oak wine barrels that have been toasted and recharred in a way that brings out fruity vanilla notes from the whisky and wood overlaid on a delicate background of complex fruitness. The casks have (deliberately) been used to mature both red and white wines which eventually will contribute the background compex fruitness to Kavalan Solist Vinho.

It is complex and multi - dimensional background of pepper, spice, dates and other fruits, such as ripe melon and mango together with kiwi and a delicate blend of citrus fruits burst.

Colour: Deep autumn gold

Nose: A rich fusion of vanilla and caramelised sugars with dark chocolate on top. Ripe melon and mango together with kiwi and a delicate blend of citrus fruits burst. Pepper is also present in the background waiting to be noticed. This bouquet is simply a sensational feast to your olfactory organ...

Palate: The taste ends with clean and complex flavours embodying all that is best in the finest malt whiskies and a long aftertaste. 

KAVALAN Gin

At the heart of the inaugural Kavalan Gin is the rarest of malted barley spirits, made from Taiwan's purest water source and triple - distilled in Kavalan Distillery's German stills to create a luxuriously mellow mouth - feel. An elegant expression of the natural bounty found in the fertile, subtropical land of Kavalan Distillery, this Taiwanese gin features six specially selected botanical extracts, 100% natural, including tangy kumquat, luscious star fruit and sweet red-flesh guava, giving this exceptionally fine gin its delicious aromatic complexity.

Colour: Crystal clear

Nose: Refreshing and elegant. Delicate aromas of juniper berries, soft aniseed and scents of coriander flourish, developing into an exuberance of zesty kumquat and citrus orange finish.

Palate: Rich, pleasingly sweet, and long and full in body. A thick creaminess envelops the tongue releasing a distinctive sweetness from the red-flesh guava, starfruit, and zesty kumquat perfectly balanced by a burst of refreshing citrus.

Finish: An elegant and enduring fruitness that defines this smooth, clean gin.
